About Cindy

It’s been said that story is crucial to our evolution. Cindy Carleton’s 37 year career story began as a graphic designer steadily growing and evolving to team leader, Creative Director and Marketing Strategist. Assured that building winning campaigns for Fortune 500 brands like Lenscrafters, P&G, and Pizza Hut was enough to lead to a long and satisfying career, it took a flat organization with limited upward growth potential, as realization of just how crucial brand storytelling was to writing her own next chapter. A chapter that would lead to successes in trucking, DEI, non-profit board leadership, and training.

With a passion for uncovering individuals’ potential and positioning them to shine, she brings her brand expertise to personal equity consulting and speaking. As the owner of LampStand LLC, she has worked with business resource groups, students, community organizations, veterans, and individuals to provide knowledge and tools to better understand their personal brand story and the power of strategic equities in purpose-led career and business performance. Women’s organizations such as the American Business Women’s Association, Next- Up, and Inforum have benefited from her dynamic workshops. Her speaking events include the Women in Trucking Accelerate Conference as well as keynotes for the Marketing Association at Davenport University, Bunker Labs Veteran Entrepreneurs, and multiple corporations.

Cindy is an exhibiting artist, rock-hound, and fisher-woman who enjoys building community. She lives with her husband, now empty-nesters, having raised two daughters who are living life and creating their own amazing stories.
